This is a little something I made for my parents for Christmas.
It went so well with my kitchen that I was tempted to keep it for myself. ;)
Just kidding....but it did make me decide that I will definitely be making another one, because these trays are LOTS of fun.

These trays are made by 7gypsies, and I've been itching to try one for months. Love how each opening is like it's own little scrapbook page...I also love how a 4x6 photo stands beautifully on it's own too (like the one of Hunter, bottom right). I used 7gypsies papers and some Tim Holtz embellishments...the F is for Family stickers are from 7gypsies as well.
These trays come in black or white, with a few different size options...and I noticed they are on sale at www.scrapbook.com too. :) Happy crafting!
Love it! I have been wanting to do one of these and now you inspired me.
ReplyDeleteI made something like this for my daughter for Christmas using an old window with six panes. It was a big hit! just another idea.
ReplyDeleteThis is awesome! What did you use as far as adhesives with the photos?
ReplyDeleteP.S. I used to do Anthology classes until they closed and I know you're doing periodic classes at Little Blue House (from your FB posts, you know my sister Robin Herron better than me), so I'm thinking this would be the perfect class for you to teach there. I'd definitely take the class and I have another friend who I know, schedule permitting would love to make one.
ReplyDeleteErin~ I just used a regular tape runner for the photos...whatever you use for scrapbooking should hold fine, as long as you don't skimp on it. :)
ReplyDeleteI would love to teach these trays...don't think I'll be back in Texas until Spring, but am hoping to teach more classes at the Little Blue House. Had a great time teaching there this week. Thanks!
